Star Citizen v3.24.0 Live has rolled out in amongst Vulcan API beta implementation and Microsoft's 232H2 update KB5041587. The update is supposed to offer performance benefits to Ryzen CPUs 5K,7K, and 9K series and some benefits to Intel's lineup. I have a 5900X, Vulcan enabled, and installed the KB5041587. Sadly, I'm not seeing a perceptible performance boost.

I'm trying to get used to the changes in cargo/hauling gameplay. Seems the changes add significant time sinks killing the aUEC profit per hour however players have much more flexibility to manage their cargo in warehouses and can have surprising benefits.

Seems less mineable rocks on moons in 3.24 relative to 3.23. I haven't checked out any impacts to the mining gameloop.

Star Citizen development is arguably regressing in year 13. Yes there are new features and enhancements but also increases in unnecessary time sinks, poor implementation of flight combat, removal of milestones in the roadmap, persisting years old bugs, and still no proof they can deliver what they promised. Server meshing, large player counts on servers, and the overall network integration to make server meshing work is a concept not a proven ability. Version 4.0 is in inflection point whether they can make the game they promised and enthusiasm (again year 13) will be tempered by this reality.

The Star Citizen v3.24.0 Live update, with Vulkan API beta and KB5041587, has indeed aimed to improve performance, particularly for Ryzen 5000 and 7000 series CPUs, as well as Intel’s recent processors. However, users, especially those with high-performance CPUs like your Ryzen 5900X, have reported mixed results. Some find improvements in frame stability, while others, as you’ve experienced, see little noticeable boost. It's possible that optimization varies by specific system configurations and settings, and some users suggest waiting for future patches as the Vulkan implementation matures, which might further stabilize performance gains. my perfect hotel
