Yes well i kinda *knew* that xxxx, but since it's *trying* to be historicaly correct by linking it's self to QUOTE: "The hundred-years war" Un-QUOTE, why the hell does it need flashy lightsaber effects then?
Did Medieval: Total War do this when it linked it's self to the crusades?
Nope, exactly my point.If you want to quote history then stick to the period, want to make arcade game with flashy effects call it anything OTHER than historic.

| Comments from xxxx | posted - 05:22 PM CET - Mar,15 2004 | | the locations in which you fight are 'historically' correct, said nothing about sword fighting being historically correct. i was just being sarcastic again.. why? cuz it's fun. i have the game and it's kinda fun but the fighting gets tiring and haven't played it in nearly a week, too many decent demo's. if they didn't put in the flare fx, imo, the game would have hit the floor hard with a splatt, i mean the graphics are not huge in this game and without the fx, it would be kinda boring.. |

PCZone.. pfff. what? they didn't get enough money from the game makers for a fair review? i seen that site, one of the worst review sites on the net for anything. like their infamous search button, they have the download info, example, for desert rats and their search button can't find it on their own site..i trust a) gameguru b) gameguru. Joan of Arc is a pretty nice game even if it is a console port. hell of a lot better than some other ports i seen. |
