Call Of Duty Beta Patch v1.3 - patch

A 1.3 beta patch for Call of Duty has been released, fixing a number of bugs
in the Infinity Ward's World War II first-person shooter. The 3.8 MB patch can
be found at
3D Gamers,
FileFront,
FileShack,
Worthplaying. This is a beta patch that is not offically supported so
download and install at your own risk. There is no Linux version of the updated
beta multiplayer code, and you will not be able to see Linux servers.
Fixes:
- Fixed a slow update problem with the server list.
- Fixed a problem where the server list would improperly list servers with a
ping of “1.”
- Fixed a problem with the server list being incomplete.
- Fixed an exploit where prone players who leaned around corners could see the
enemy without being seen.
- Fixed an exploit where players could switch between prone and jumping
positions to move rapidly across a map.
- Fixed a bug with the sway animation of the sniper rifle scope on high ping
servers.
- Made improvements to Autobalancing.

| Comments from xxxx | posted - 06:53 PM CET - Feb,25 2004 | | wtf do these dumb ass developers insist on writing games on severely exploited engines.. jesus. woo, they fixed a exploit or two, well from my account i see still 6 outstanding cheats that, as of 6 days ago, work with the latest COD. some of the cheats say, pb wont likely detect em either, go figure. this is one game i really feel i made a mistake buying. these guys developing it haven't got a clue, i should have realized that when i knew it was a Q3 game..i haven't played it since being demo'd these cheats with the latest version and i really doubt i ever will. PB is just a false positive and everyone should have learned that from the HL days. |
