  • Firestarter Preview - GameSpot has posted a brief preview of Firestarter, the upcoming arcade first person shooter from GSC GameWorld.
  • Celtic Kings: The Punic Wars - music for the masses - Haemimont Games let us know they have unveiled two music pieces from their upcoming game - Celtic Kings: The Punic Wars. These two tracks are "The battle at Zama" (8.3 Mb) and "The destruction of Carthage".
  • Codemasters to publish Perimeter - Codemasters sent out a press release announcing that they have secured the publishing rights to Perimeter (interview), the upcoming unique looking and playing 3D real-time strategy game by developer K-D Lab. Perimeter will be published by Codemasters in Spring 2004 for PC CD. You can check the gameplay video at the newly launched Codemasters' Perimeter website.
  • Devil Whiskey Released - Shifting Suns has announced that Devil Whiskey, their first person party fantasy RPG has been released and is now available to purchase for download, or to preorder the boxed version and download the game.
  • Atari 80' Classic Games on PC - Atari has released a new PC collection of Atari games in a package titled Atari: 80 Classic Games in One. Once again developed by Digital Eclipse, it features a rehash of all their previous coin-op/arcade re-releases plus 62 Atari 2600 games.
  • Prince Of Persia Ships  - Ubisoft announced that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has officially shipped for all platforms, with the PC version heading for retail today ($49.99).
  • Neverwinter Nights: Hordes Of The Underdark Ships - Atari and Bioware this morning shipped Neverwinter Nights: Hordes Of The Underdark for the PC. This second second expansion includes character leveling up to 40, 6 all-new classes, 4 tile sets and 16 new creatures.
  • Lords Of EverQuest Ships  - Sony Online Entertainment Inc. today announced that its fantasy RTS game, Lords of EverQuest, is available now at U.S. and Canadian retail stores. Lords Of EverQuest carries the suggested retail price of $49.99 USD.
  • More on Star Wars: Battlefront - The site of the Official U.S. Playstation magazine has a news post about Star Wars: Battlefront, the Battlefield 1942-like multiplayer game that LucasArts is working on. (thanks ShackNews)
  • Infiltration 2.9 UT2k3 mod - Infiltration 2.9 has been released. The full install is very large at 448 MBs!! While you wait for the download you can check out the updated manual and the other release details. (thanks PlanetUnreal)
  • Driver 3 to feature Hollywood Voices - According to this PR, Atari has signed a blockbuster Hollywood cast to lend voices to its greatly anticipated video game, DRIV3R, scheduled for release in Spring 2004. "Michael Madsen, Ving Rhames, Mickey Rourke and Michelle Rodriguez will play the lead roles in the third installment of the gritty, crime-fighting Driver video game series, one of the most successful video game franchises of all time."
  • Take-Two Interactive Software aquired TDK Mediactive - Take-Two Interactive Software announced today that it has completed the purchase of TDK Mediactive, Inc., a California based publisher of video game franchises based on popular licensed properties, including The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Land Before Time, Robotech, The Muppets and Corvette.
  • The Sims Bustin Out Ships for GBA - Electronic Arts today announced that The Sims Bustin' Out for the Game Boy Advance has shipped in North America ($29.99). The Sims Bustin’ Out has 30 new characters to interact with, 150 objects to use, and connectivity features for both playing mini games (via GameCube), as well as trading items with other players via Link Cable (GBA to GBA).
