  • The Hobbit Interview - GameZone has posted an interview with Ken Embery of VUGames as he talks about The Hobbit, their just released PC-console action-adventure game based on the J.R.R. Tolkien prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
  • Live For Speed demo & patch v0.3D  - An official patch D for S1 is now available. It contains a lot of fixes and improvements. Most notably, 16 player racing online is now possible. They also released an updated demo as well. Mirror: 3DGamers.
  • Railroad Tycoon 3 German demo - Take-Two Germany has released a playable demo of Railroad Tycoon 3, allowing you to test out this new 3D management strategy sequel by PopTop Software. The demo contains some tutorials, a single scenario and a sand-box map.
  • Championship Manager Season 03/04 Demo - LoadedInc has a mirror for Championship Manager Season 03/04 demo.
  • Pop Idol Demo - The game is scheduled for release tomorrow in the UK for the PC and PlayStation 2, with the Game Boy Advance version following on November 21st. An exact release date covering North America hasn't been set. Click the official site for the demo. (thanks GameGossip)
  • Warlords IV Patch v1.01 - The official Warlords IV: Heroes website now offers the first patch for the latest installment in the strategy series. This page has details about the fixes it offers for some crashing issues and other bugs.
  • Mall Tycoon 2 v1.022 Patch - Global Star Software has released the second patch for Mall Tycoon 2, updating this recent 3D management strategy game to v1.022.
  • Magic: the Gathering - Battlegrounds Gold - Atari today announced that the Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds for the Xbox and PC, has gone gold.  Developed for Atari by Secret Level, Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds is set for a November 18th release date.
  • Firestarter Goes Gold - According to the official GSC Game World website, FireStarter has gone gold and can be expected to hit the stores very soon (in Japan this month and North America gamers must wait until January 2004). Due to technical peculiarities, the game does not run under OS Windows 95, 98 and ME, while supported only by Windows 2000 and XP.
  • Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Delayed? - The word on the streets say that Condition Zero might be delayed. Although this appears to be a rumor, most of the game retailers have suddenly pushed the date back to December 14th. Valve Software would not comment. (thanks Half-Life source)
  • CS Xbox Goes Gold - Microsoft Game Studios and Valve today announced that Counter-Strike for Xbox has gone gold and will arrive on store shelves on 5th December for an estimated retail price of L39.99 (UK).
  • Doom 3 Teaser Web Site Launched - In case you missed it, the official DOOM 3 website is up, presumably the site will be filled in with more info and shots in the future.
