Halo Server & Patch v1.02 - patch

Gearbox has released the promised
version 1.02 dedicated server update for Halo: Combat Evolved, their just
released 3D sci-fi action game port. Here is some description: "This version
adds the ability to run multiple instances of the server on a single machine,
and enables rcon functionality in Halo." The new server is not compatible
with the current client patch but that v1.02 update is expected later today.

Update: As promised, Gearbox has now released
a new client patch
v1.02. As before, using the auto-updater is recommended but a manual
download is available as well, and there are again no details on the changes in
this release. I found this
"Halo PC 1.02 Patch and Performance FAQ". Doesn't really say what changed in
the patch, but a very good FAQ for tweaking the game for your computer imho.
