Clan Fonzie has made
an 11
minute movie called Pandora's Box. It centers around three terrorist
trying to infiltrate a weapons factory. The first few minutes are a bit slow

- World of Warcraft Screens - The Unofficial
World of Warcraft Site

3) world of Warcraft screenshots.
- Cossacks II Shots -
The official preview site for Cossacks II contains four new screenshots
from the new interface. Old Cossacks buffs will immediately recognize the
changes. Everything has been cleaned up, and there are drastically fewer icons
than before. The guys at GSC Game World were able to minimize the icons and
simplify the controls. Another new feature is an on-screen video that depicts
the selected unit via real-life footage.
- Orbz demo v2.10 - 21-6 Productions has released
an updated playable
demo for their online strategic action/arcade game
Orbz. This new
version incorporates various new features, better video card support and some
bug fixes. Note: The demo is now restricted to 60 minutes of play-time.
- Desert Combat Mod - A new version of the popular
Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942 is now available for download from
the official website. This new version features a few new vehicles, weapons,
models and sounds. This version is also compatible with the upcoming 1.45
patch.
- PlanetSide expansion Announced - At a Friday evening press event in
San Francisco, Sony Online Entertainment showed off a handful of concept shots
and talked a bit about its
upcoming PlanetSide expansion (homepage),
Core Combat. Due in October, the add-on will allow players to explore
underground caverns, which will be filled with new alien technology to assist
the three empires in their never-ending war. (thanks

- QuakeCon Doom III Keynote Panel Highlights - HomeLAN has the
highlights from Fridays'
Doom
3's keynote panel where members of id Software talked about the upcoming
game and other subjects as well.
- "Once Upon A Knight" (Knightshift) in September - Publisher
Atari has
announced that "Once Upon A Knight" (Knightshift for Europe), a
fantasy-based interactive PC game, is in development and will be available in
the U.S. on September 23rd for a suggested price of $49.99. Once Upon A
Knight combines the best elements of RTS action and RPG adventure into a
unique and exciting game set in a brilliantly rendered setting where players
battle evil, save damsels and are generally noble and just.
- Commandos 3 website launched - Eidos UK has launched
the official Commandos 3 website, with info, screenshots and trailers from
this upcoming squad based WWII RTS game by Pyro Studios.
- Railroad Tycoon 3 website launched - Gathering has launched the
official Railroad
Tycoon 3 website, with info and goodies showing off the upcoming next game
in Poptop Software's railroad sim series.
- Developer Myths #3 - GameGossip let us know they have posted their
latest
article in the Developer Myth Series called "3. Developers lie about a
game's features just to get sales!"
- 3DO' High Heat, M&M, HoMM Sold - Microsoft Corp. said on
Friday
it acquired the rights to the "High Heat" baseball video game franchise
from bankrupt software publisher 3DO Co. Ubi Soft has
bought the rights to the Might and Magic and Heroes of Might and Magic
games for 3DO in their bankrupcy auction for $1.5 million.
