GTA3MTA website has now offers
a new version 0.3b of MTA ~
local mirror
(5MB), the modification that adds multiplayer support to the PC version of Grand
Theft Auto 3. The MTA v0.3b package includes: MTA package, GTA3 Launcher,
Dedicated Server and Dedicated Server config tool. The MTA v0.3b features "see
each other walking, see each other shooting, see each other driving,
gamemode DM-gangs supported for now, 6-12 players recommended for internet
play, GTA3:MTA servers visible in ASE (The All-Seeing Eye)". MTA v0.3b is
optimized for GTA3 v1.1, and is not tested well with v1.0. So they recommend you
to use GTA v1.1, although we made it possible to change the GTA3 version in MTA
v0.3b. (thanks BluesNews)

Deathmatch means you get to kill others in gta mta you cant kill anyone. Cars dont get damaged... geesh. There was a reason rockstar didnt release a multiplayer in their game. |

so i hope they have a team working on it. |
