- Warcraft 3 Bonus MP Maps - Blizzard has released
three Warcraft 3 maps, which were previously released only on special demo
CDs handed out in the AMC movie theaters.
- Serious Sam: TSE patch v1.50 beta - This is the public
beta release of the upcoming 1.50 patch for Serious Sam: The Second
Encounter. The new features in this patch are: full hardware 3D sound (with
EAX) with support for dolby surround 5.1, optimized rendering (5-20% faster),
support for occlusion culling, major improvements to skeletal animations (seen
in updated tech-test level), support for hardware vertex & pixel shaders (seen
in updated tech-test level), Parhelia triple-head support (support for three
monitors), detection of newer graphic cards, no more syncbads in multiplay,
recorded demo rec/playback (no sync problems) and more...Mirror:
3DGamers.
- Iron Storm v1.03 Beta Patch -
There is a
new patch for the European edition of Iron Storm, bringing the recent
first- and third-person shooter by 4X Studio to version 1.03. This new patch
"fixes a crash to desktop issue with certain (unspecified) graphics cards."
- Prelude to Darkness patch v1.35 - Zero Sum Software has
released a
new patch for Prelude to Darkness, upgrading their top-down 3D RPG to
version 1.35. This new patch fixes many bugs.
- Halloween v 1.3n released -
This new version of Halloween (52MB) fixes a mouse control bug, adds new
ingame new sounds, and more blood ! There is also a new incredible sound track
written by Kalmindo himse.
- FIM Speedway Grand Prix Polish demo - Polish company Techland has
released a
playable demo of FIM Speedway Grand Prix, offering a chance to try out
their speedway motor racing game that is due soon on store shelves in their
home country. The demo contains the Cardiff Millennium Stadium track but as
expected it's entirely in Polish, so be prepared for some guesswork.
