30 hi-res screenshots from Stronghold Crusader demo.
- IL-2 Sturmovik Update v1.2 - Ubi Soft has released a new
update version 1.2 for IL-2 Sturmovik, the popular WWII flight sim from
Maddox Games. The update includes four new flyable aircraft (Bf-109E-7/Z,
Yak-9, Yak-9D, Ju-87B-2 "Stuka") and 10 new single player missions and
six new cooperative online missions.
- Grand Prix 4 official patch v4.0. - There is a new patch for Grand
Prix 4, bringing this Formula 1 racing simulation by Geoff Crammond and
Simergy to version 4.0. This release addresses nearly two dozen gameplay and
technical issues as detailed in the accompanying changes list. The patch
clocks ~6MB and is available for download from
3DGamers,
Blackhole
Motorsports and
DrivingItalia.
- Chessmaster 9000 v1.01 Patch - Ubi Soft has released the
first patch v1.01 for its just released chess game, Chessmaster 9000. The
patch adds support for downloadable True3D boards and pieces, fixes a problem
in Rated Games, fixes two tutorial errors, and more.
- Project Nomads German Demo - 3DGamers has a
German demo of
Project Nomads, offering the opportunity to try out this hybrid 3D action
role-playing strategy game that is nearing completion at Radon Labs. The demo
features a tutorial and the first two missions of the full game, but is
entirely in German so be prepared for some guesswork if Sie nicht sprechen. I
heard this demo freezing under XP.
- Medal of Honor Allied Assault Expansion Pack Officially - The
expansion pack will allow owners of Medal of Honor Allied Assault to assume
the role of Sergeant Jack Barnes and continue their fight from behind enemy
lines in Normandy on D-Day to the Battle of the Bulge to the Fall of Berlin
and the defeat of the thousand year Reich. More over, the game will include
nine new single-player levels and over 12 new multi-player levels. Players
will also have the opportunity to play as British, American, German and Soviet
troops in an enhanced multi-player mode. Additionally, players will have the
ability to choose from a vast arsenal of authentic Soviet and British weapons.
The game is currently under development by EALA and is scheduled for release
this fall under the EA GAMES brand.
- They Weren't Meant to Be Games - When a game is done well,
the motion picture industry can't compete. Last year, people spent $14
billion worldwide on films, but Americans alone spent $8 billion on games for
their homes and another $7 billion in arcade playing. A high-quality video
game now can surpass traditional action movies in terms of realism, usability,
return visits, interactivity and subtlety.
- JoWood Web Site Launched - JoWood has launched
it's Company Web Site,
the site, available in English, German or Japanese, contains information on
their games including screenshot and demos. (thanks

| Comments from pete | posted - 08:59 PM CEST - Sep,02 2002 | | Mech paks offer a few new mechs, weapons, accessories. if your a mech fan these are a must, but you can play without the mech paks, as i have both mech paks, but dont use any of the mechs, sometimes the weapons and accessories.

and found out that there are patches both available for the inner sphere and clan paks. Check it out. |
