| I didn't expect this demo so soon, but NVIDIA is the first site to offer
downloads of the Recon
demo of America's Army: Operations, Unreal engine powered free first-person shooter
developed by the U.S. Army. The demo clocks
204MB and offers "four single player basic training missions including a rifle range,
obstacle course and weapons course, as well as "six multiplayer missions
including a homeland defense operation, urban training, freeing prisoners, and protecting

AMD Athlon 1.2Ghz
ASUS A7M266 (crap)
256MB DDR PC2100
GeForce 2 MX-400 32MB AGP
and i can only play it smoothly at 640x480, but it crashes.
A game that is developed by the Military would need a VERY fast machine.
How would a normal civilian be able to get a system for a game created by the army that has billions of $$$ funding.????? |
