Take Two Games has FINALLY released a patch for Grand Theft Auto III, bringing their crime-infested 3D action game to
version 1.1. This release offers a handful of bug fixes and improvements, removes most
protection checks, and is save game compatible with the original game. Mirrors:

I never had crashes and i didnt hear any of my friends had any crashes, and hte copying the music on the hard disk, well for that there are already cracks out, we dont need a patch for that. But they guys must be sleeping, only thing everybody is angry about is, that it runs so slow even on machines that are in the optimal configuration, thats a joke, i dont know what the programmers think they are doing with this patch, have they ever visited a froum about gta3. A JOKE! Get the cracks and play without cd at all, works even better than this patch. |

GTA3 was so slow and mine eclipsed the required and recommended specifications but it was STILL too slow, but ever since i installed the patch, it is nice and smooth. |

The damn readme says it's savegme compatible and it was when I first installed. Then when I quit out of the game and went back in, no saves.
Last time I trust a readme. |

So what will be the next patch, will tehy turn off buildings and people on the street? |
