I noticed over at Ubisoft.de that the promised playable demo for The Sum of All Fears,
just released squad-based tactical shooter by Red Storm Entertainment is available for
download from Gigex, 3D Gamers, FilePlanet,
Gamesweb.com
and Tiscali
Games. The demo clocks 82MB and "takes place in a bombed out prison that serves
as a training ground for the FBI's most elite agents. The mission objective will be to
rescue ATF agents held within the grounds. The demo includes 5 weapons kits and all the
mulitplayer modes within the prison level. Multiplayer is compatible only with other demo
users."

What I got against the game is the lack of control (like the planning in R6/RS) and the hard coded weapon-kits. RSE put a gameeditor on the CD so I made my own kits, hence kits are no problem for those not computer illiterate :-) |
