The patch brings native 4K visuals, significantly powered-up performance, and advanced ray tracing to make Night City look more immersive than ever. It leverages PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) AI upscaling for sharper details on elements like neon-lit streets, vehicles, and characters. Enhanced BVH8 support improves lighting, shadows, and reflections, perfectly suiting the game's cyberpunk aesthetic.Players can choose from three modes: Ray Tracing Pro for full effects at up to 40 FPS on VRR displays, a high-fidelity Performance mode reaching 90 FPS, or a balanced Ray Tracing mode at 60 FPS.
CD Projekt RED stated they aimed to maximize the PS5 Pro's hardware to let Night City "shine as brightly as possible." The update is available at no extra cost, especially convenient since the game is currently in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.
