  • Portal 2 E3 2010 Preview - Combined with the gameplay mechanics of the original Portal--i.e. the importance of momentum--these new additions seem, at first, to be rather simple to wrap your head around. But when they all start to come together, when the puzzles start requiring these various elements to be used in conjunction, the possibilities are ...daunting. Fortunately, Valve recognizes the dangers of making the game too difficult. Developed by Valve Software, Portal 2 is scheduled to release simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Mac sometime during 2011.
  • Bad Company 2 PC Patch Pushed to Monday - DICE's Barrie Tingle has tweeted that the Bad Company 2 PC patch will not be out this week. They are now planning for a release next Monday if all goes well.
  • The Settlers 7 Patch - A new patch is now available for The Settlers 7 to update the strategy/management sequel to version 1.06.
  • Doctor Who: The Adventure Games - Episode 2: Blood Of The Cybermen Available This Saturday - The second of four free Doctor Who games will be released this Saturday on the BBC website. FYI, the game connects to the internet in order to verify that you are in the UK or to send progress statistics back to the BBC server. Please note that no personal information is sent to the BBC.
  • Just Cause 2 Free DLC Released - Tuk Tuk Boom Boom is available through Steam, PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace. It's safe to say, there's never been a ride quite like the Tuk Tuk Boom Boom. Pimped-out and pumped-up, this auto rickshaw rolls with style, grace and a roof-mounted weapon of mass destruction, capable of devastating even the most persistent of pursuers. Other features include heavily reinforced and multi-layered carbon fibre composite shielding, a polycarbonate laminated armour windscreen and quad front-mounted air horns.
  • Napoleon: Total War The Peninsular Campaign DLC Released - The Peninsular Campaign Downloadable Content is a new and independent campaign for Napoleon: Total War based on the conflict in the Spanish Peninsula between 1811 and 1814. It was during this era that the Spanish resistance gave their style of fighting its name: Guerrilla, or the “little war”. Choose one of the three nations involved - France, Great Britain or Spain - and experience one the most intense conflict of the Napoleonic era.  The DLC is going for $9.99. They also announce the availability of a new patch for the game.
  • Red Dead Redemption: Outlaws To The End Free DLC Released - The Outlaws To The End Co-Op Mission Pack lets up to four players join forces and take on the Dying West together. Missions include raiding gold mines, clearing the outlaw-infested town of Tumbleweed with cannons and Gatling guns, battling rebel insurgents across the river banks, and more in 6 new co-op missions. With new achievements and Challenges, this extensive co-op pack brings hours of gunslinging action to your Red Dead Redemption experience.
  • MAG Interdiction $DLC - Zipper Interactive Sr. Community Manager Jeremy Dunham has announced that MAG Interdiction (4MB Activation Patch) for PS3 is available today alongside a Double XP weekend!
  • Quantum Theory Trailer - Tecmo KOEI's oft-delayed co-op action game is now scheduled for a Fall 2010 launch on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
  • No plans for a Xbox 360 version of FFXIV- Square Enix producer Hiromichi Tanaka mentioned that there is no current plans for a Xbox 360 version of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. Tanaka said that they are still talking to Microsoft for a possible Xbox 360 version, but right now they are only working on the PS3 and PC version. The E3 trailer can be found here.
  • Resident Evil Revelations Trailer (3DS) - Take a look at the debut trailer for Capcom's first Nintendo 3DS title, Resident Evil: Revelations, supposedly "rendered in real-time using the game engine."  Capcom said the 3DS version of Resident Evil Revelations is being produced using the MT Framework that powered Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 2.
  • DeathSpank Out July 13th On Consoles - EA's announced that the console editions of DeathSpank will debut on the Playstation Network and Xbox Live July 13th and 14th, respectively, at a cost of $15. A PC version will be released at a later date
  • DC Universe Online Subscription Fees & Microtransactions Announced - The revenue model will be subscription based, with a monthly fee of $14.99 per month. DC Universe Online will also support micro-transaction
  • Deus Ex Turns 10, 75% Off At Steam - Steam is offering a 75% off sale on both Deus Ex: Invisible War and Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition. That brings the price down to $2.49 each, or $4.98 as a package deal. Offer ends 3pm Pacific time on June 23rd
  • New Xbox 360 getting $199 'Arcade' version this Fall -  If you're interested in one of those shiny new black Xbox 360 'slims', you might also be interested in waiting for a few months, as Microsoft has confirmed that a $200 Arcade version will be available this Fall.
  • EA discounts more than a dozen iPhone games to $1 each - The good news: lots of iPhone games are only $1. The bad news: none of those games is Mirror's Edge (which is still only available for iPad). FYI, those links are for US Store only, but the games are for sale in other countries too.
  • Microsoft Paying for Game Ports to Windows Phone 7 - Microsoft is offering developers cash for porting their existing mobile phone games to the upcoming Windows Phone 7, due out this holiday. The games will feature Xbox Live account support and Achievements.
