  • Intel Core i9-9900KF, i7-9700KF, i5-9600KF, i5-9400F Prices Listed - According to the Norwegian retailer, the Core i5-9400F could go for $255.15. The Core i5-9600KF, on the other hand, can possibly cost between $188.34 to $355.70, while the Core i7-9700KF is expected to have a $528.17 price tag. The Core i9-9900KF could set you back anywhere from $511.26 to $684.07.
Both retailers expect to have the new processors in stock by January 3, 2019 which could mean that Intel will announce the chips in a couple of weeks.
  • AMD's Athlon Rises: Athlon 220GE, 240GE Released - AMD's Athlon branding is probably the company's longest running one when it comes to its commercial CPU solutions. These join AMD's already-released Athlon 200GE, but offering higher clockspeeds for better overall performance, whilst keeping within the same 35W TDP of their slower, lower-tier sibling. Both the Athlon 220GE and 240GE keep the 2-core, 4-thread design of the Athlon 200GE, but their clockspeeds have been increased to 3.4 GHz and and 3.5 GHz respectively (the 200GE runs at 3.2 GHz. Pricing, of course, increases as the clockspeed does, and while the Athlon 200GE is a steal at just $55 (with its integrated, 3 compute-units graphics accelerator), the 220GE goes for $65, and the 240GE will be available for $75.

  • Microsoft Is Planning a New Family of 4K Webcams for 2019 - Paul Thurrott has learned Microsoft may be returning to the webcam market next year with 4K cameras, one of which would be compatible with both Windows 10 and Xbox One. This product is supposed to provide unique benefits to both platforms: it would grant Windows Hello-based authentication for the former, which is currently limited to camera systems built into Surface PCs, while Kinect-like features and capabilities (e.g., signing in by way of visual recognition) could be resuscitated for the latter.
  • Apple Makes It Possible to Gift In-App Purchases - You may soon be able to send or receive in-app content from the App Store as a gift. Apple recently updated the App Store Review Guidelines and therein gave developers new powers to entice users. The relevant language in the new Guideline says, "Apps may enable gifting of items that are eligible for in-app purchase to others. Such gifts may only be refunded to the original purchaser and may not be exchanged." Apple did not spell out how developers should implement this feature, nor did it explain how the feature will work for end users. Before this change, it was only possible for people to gift apps to one another and not the content within.

32GB remains overkill

True, unless you need the extra on the side while playing a game.

Gaming Chat Startup Discord Raises $150M, Surpassing $2B Valuation

You know, I liked Discord. Problem is, there is no free speech there.
You start talking about piracy (not doing it, rather, what it is and argue about being good or bad) for example and you get banned.
So, nice tool but chauvinist pigs. Felt like being a Chinese, not a free man so I left the fuckers.

How to recycle gold from cpu computer scrap

Seems like an awfully lot of time and investment for a little gold.
I suppose it's worth it if it's something you do all the time.
I wonder where they dump all the chemicals and waste that results from this process.

Here Is the New Hellboy Trailer

Oh, jeez. That's some fucked up Hellboy. Where's Ron Pearlman?

Yet another fucked up movie. Where's Will Smith? I don't want to have to see this idiot in every movie, please keep him in Thor movies where he belongs.
