X: Beyond The Frontier

X is the mix of 3D space shooter, trading and adventure
game. You start in foreign civilization by space misjump, finding
yourself in the center of intercivilization wars, trade and
business. You can increase your both rank and money
by trading goods, fighting pirate ships or maybe helping
any nation against the other one. So later you're buying better
weapons, doing harder tasks and missions for nations'
governments, etc.. Even if you can always decide what you gonna
do, there are various storylines and tasks going through the game.
You can even develop and build your own space factories,
mines or plants. Fight, trade, tasks, troubles and wins, that's it.
snd: 4/5 - Perfectly voiced, and 3D sounded. Blasts, noises, effects, you'll get it all.
gfx: 5/5 -
Extensive use of 3D acceleration, detailed spaceships, stations and space objects. Fast and smooth graphics engine.
playability: 3/5 -
The game to which you can addict very deeply, but I'm not sure if it will shrug wide gaming population. It's too hard and too huge story, for core gamers only! :)
