5 Best PC Multiplayer Games
() 11:00 AM EDT - Aug,14 2017

It’s certainly not an easy task to pick the best multiplayer games since there are so many criteria that need to be taken into consideration when making such a list. It’s usually all about the level of immersion that game manages to transfer to the players involved. And the key ingredient seems to be somehow connected with having fewer limits, being able to do almost everything in the game universe.
We took the impossible mission of narrowing the huge database of multiplayer games to a list of only 5 top such games available for PC. And here we go:

Overwatch

The task of picking the number one game in the list was quite simple as Overwatch is, undeniably the most-played multiplayer game of all time. Actually, it already became more than a game, it’s a real phenomenon and it’s only the beginning. There are voices that tend to compare Overwatch with Team Fortress 2 or even League of Legends and the fun part is that both are kind of right. It combines the art style and asymmetrical combat of Team Fortress 2 with the team play of LoL to create the perfect multiplayer experience.

To cut the story short, this multiplayer game was our big love for years in a row and now it has great graphics and great weapon feedback – instant crush!

Team Fortress 2

Launched in 2007, Team Fortress 2, managed to blindside everyone with Pixar-like graphics and a cast of characters unlike previous shooters of its kind. Each character has a unique set of skills and abilities perfectly thought to interact with one another. It evolved a lot over the years and it’s very different from what it was in 2007 and it made our list simply for being one of the all-time classics. Worms Yet another classic, Worms kept us entertained for almost 30 years now – yes, you’re that old! Played with three or four players, the whole point is to move your warm around the map and obliterate your opponents before they do the same to you.

Diablo 3

The Diablo series needs no further introduction, they won their place in the gaming Hall of Fame way before Diablo 3 was released. Even so, all the demons you can slay and all the loot you can collect is way more fun when it’s shared with your friends. After a long pause since the release of Diablo 2, Blizzard managed to come up with a great sequel. And things keep looking good for Diablo 3 as a Necromancer class is about to be released by the end of the year.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Valve together with Hidden Path managed to bring a sleeping giant in the very core of PC gaming. Released in 2012 it is still among the most played games on Steam every day and it also developed an entire industry of betting around its weapon skins. It’s no UK casino bonus, however, it attracts a lot of people into it.

We’ve made it, top 5 of the most played, childhood bring-back multiplayer games ever made. Of course, the subjectivity of every individual might make this top obsolete and it’s a free world out there, you can feel free to disagree.
