Microprose's GP 500 is motorcycle FIM licensed simulation,
actually it means you'll find here all the tracks
and riders of the real racing season.
Fast and good graphics engine, and great motorcycle's physics
can mean great fun for you, if you're into this type of game.
I enjoyed a large variety of views, not only from
the cockpit, or overhead, but also from static
camera's around the track. The play modes include
Quick instant racing mode, Testing/Practice mode (pretty important
btw, since riding and maneuvering the bike can be pretty
hard at the start), Championship and Single Race mode.
There is a support of multiplayer up to 16 players
via TCP/IP Internet, LAN, direct connection and modem.

The graphics is nice, bikes look very realistic. Anyway the complexity of environment and viewers is not on that high level and from time to time some strange glitches appear in the graphics engine.
playability: 4/5 -
In my opinion the best motobike simulation ever seen. But don't expect too much by playing it with keyboard, it's really hard with it, and you'll not have such fun as with pad or joystick.
