Megarace 3 is a futuristic arcade racing game for PC, the successor to the original MegaRace, developed by Cryo Interactive in the first half of the 1990s and MegaRace 2, released in 1996. I've played Megarace 1 (If I remember well, it was my very first CD-ROM game), and I loved it. Then, along came Megarace II. Not so good as the first, and now Megarace III seems to be even worse. Well, some "Wipeout" fans will like it, but who remember old Megarace will be rather disappointed as me. In the game you will be piloting your vessel on your way to saving the planet from enormous plants, gigantic animals, germs the size of automobiles, and crap like that. Megarace 3 features 8 totally different racing environments, over 30 circuits, 12 vessels - each with 3 distinctive playing modes (attack, defense, speed), highly original microscopic universe, with a game structure that alternates between time trials, missions and classic races, shortcuts, bonus upgrades, four game modes (practice, arcade, career and catastrophe) and also several multi-player game modes (LAN/Internet, co-operative).
