WTF is Tux Racer? Well, this cute game lets you take on the role of four various arctic characters (including the popular Linux Mascot, Tux the Penguin) as they race down steep, snow-covered mountains. The game includes eighteen thrilling downhill courses in six racing cups. For each course, you must reach the finish line within a certain time, while collecting herring, avoiding obstacles and performing tricks along the way. What to say more, Tux Racer's combines top-notch 3D graphics with gameplay physics that are both immersive and challenging.The full version is just great, I have beaten all of the cups where you race against opponents on the hard setting :P Tux Racer is pretty easy, enjoyable and suitable for all ages. Download playable demo (24MB) for both Windows 9x/ME/2k/XP and Linux.

good, cute, 3D engine supports bump-mapping, stenciled shadows, variety of terrain, including fluffy snow, icy roads, too simple
