Now these child dreams might come true. In Zoo Tycoon, you'll be challenged to build the most healthy and vibrant zoo possible. Build, manage, and maintain a zoo with over 200 different types of animals, exhibits, and zoo materials. You also have to keep the zoo profitable, make sure the park is clean and tidy, manage research programs and handle advertising. Plan wisely, and all of your animals will be happy. Plan poorly, and those lions, tigers, and bears may find a new found interest in you :P Zoo Tycoon includes thirteen different scenarios that start out easy and becoming increasingly more difficult. You can research new park facilities and animals, build food stands, gift shops and other objects like benches and lampposts, very similarly to RollerCoaster Tycoon. Zoo Tycoon is a mostly enjoyable strategy game that's suitable for all ages, don't offer nothing new, but it’s a zoo in here! :) if you already bought this game, don't forget to download the Asian Elephant add-on. If you want only try - leech this playable demo (27MB). snd: 4/5 - very good and varied gfx: 3/5 - only mediocre, only two zoom perspectives, very pixelated and grainy graphics after zoom (unlike Tropico) playability: 4/5 - suitable for all ages, easy interface, two gameplay options for the novice and the expert, well done tutorial, over 40 animals to adopt, thirteen different scenarios genre: strategy/open-ended building sim release: November 2001 developer: Blue Fang Games the game is similar to: RollerCoaster Tycoon publisher: Microsoft Overall: 70%

I have not see a tycoon game that has even come close to Roller Coaster Tycoon And the expansion packs are great!! On a P800 with 256MB's of ram it still takes FOREVER to get up and running. Once up and running it's ok, but the graphics are not much to talk about. Not many features to choose from, I give it a 6 out of 10.
