State of War is real-time strategy game developed by Cypron Studios. After centuries of continuous battles, war and turmoil the humankind finally came together and founded United Federation of seven continents - U.F.S.C.. In 2020 U.F.S.C. built a global defense system known as Overmind. It was powered by an intelligent software and comprise 22 military bases located beyond inhabited areas ready to act in case of engagement. The Influential sect of Beho-Sunns surprisingly ambushed Overmind in effort to control military means and ultimately to rule the planet. You chief executive to the greatest military corpse ever formed, have orders to fight rebellious fanatics who must not prevail over military bases meant to protect mankind of the globe. That sounds like pretty cool story isn't Well, certainly the story wasn't so interesting for me as the gameplay. The game take place on planet Earth. In order to win player have to complete 22 missions. Each mission represents one base connected to Overmind. Player's objective is to conquer each base from hands of Beho-Sunns. Structures and vehicles of U.F.C.S. are indicated blue while Beho-Sunns appears green. Missions are spread across the globe in several countries and climates. From Australia to Russia throughout deserts and forests, to lands of ice and snow. State of War features massive destruction, debris flying everywhere, awesome graphics engine with a numerous graphics effects, airforces delivering tons of explosives to battlefield, advancer unit changing the course of the gameplay radically, realistic natural effects of smoke, clouds or flares and much more. I am playing State of War like a week everyday and I still cannot stop!, the game is really pretty cool and very addictive :) If you liked Warzone 2100 (my favorite RTS game), you will love State of War. But this game isn't exactly the same like Warzone 2100, but State of War is more about action (more fights, more explosions ...) The screen sometime reminded me crazy massacres ala Diablo2 (your mouse will soon overheated by clicking) but here are tanks, bombers, fighters...State of War simply rocks!!
