DRACULA - The Last Sanctuary
(hx) 12:11 AM CET - Jan,06 2001

Dracula: The Last Sanctuary, is the sequel to Dracula Resurrection. The new game begins right at the culmination of the first story, with Jonathan Harker's daring rescue of his wife Mina from the evil Count's castle in Transylvania. Dracula is hot on his trail back to London, where the story resumes one week later. Follow Jonathan as he pursues Dracula through London to Carfax, Borgo Pass, the Catacombs, and finally to Dracula's secret Sanctuary. The sequel features Numerous puzzles, challenges, plenty of bad guys, and confrontations with the boss himself (Dracula), also over 25 hours of play, 13 vampires to fight, over 20 3D characters animated characters using Motion Capture and 4 completely new 3D worlds (London, The Borgo Pass in Transylvania, Dracula's castle and Dracula's dungeon). Dracula: The Last Sanctuary also adds up to 20 locations and more than 40 scenes to explore and approximately 100 animations, more than 100 objects to collect. The game graphics are well done, all characters are beautifully rendered and the cutscenes are very fluid and beautiful, probably they are best thing in the game :) Certainly not everything is perfect - the play screens themselves are quite static (without onscreen animations), also Transylvania locations looking better than the London ones, and some rooms are too dark. But I think everybody who liked Dracula Resurrection will definitely enjoy this adventure game, some parts of game are really pretty scary.
