Egypt 2 The Heliopolis Prophecy is a historical/educational adventure by Cryo Interactive. Maybe you still remember their previous titles : Versailles: 1685, Egypt: 1156 B.C., China, and Pompeii. In comparison with the previous titles, Egypt 2 offers more interesting story and puzzles, though the game is quite short. In the game you play role of Tifet, pretty young woman, student of Sakhmet (the goddess of illness and medicine). The game begins when you (as Tifet) suddenly awakens from your sleep and realizes that your vision was only a dream. However before you can consider the significance of your dream, there is a knock on the door and you receives a letter from your stepfather Djehouty saying that he is seriously ill and requesting that you come to his house immediately. Really nice and emotive story. The game graphic and sound are simply excellent, the animations are very well rendered on beautifully detailed backgrounds, also the voice acting is excellent (unlike other Cryo games), the voice of Tifet reminds me the voice April Ryan from The Longest Journey. If you like historical adventure games, it's absolutely game for you.
