Gunman Chronicles
(hx) 01:32 AM CET - Dec,01 2000

Gunman Chronicles (which began as a Half-Life total conversion) is a 1st-person action game built using Valve's Half-Life engine. The game is set in the western spiral of the galaxy, five years after a horrifying alien invasion. The adventure will lead you to 4 unexplored planets with a variety of locales for enemies. Gunman Chronicles features over 40 hours of gameplay, plenty of weapons, original sound and music, and 30 very ugly enemies. Certainly the game includes multiplayer modes for up to 32 players through LAN and Internet connections. The game graphics are good, Rewolf has done a very good job with the level design as well as the textures used in each area, though the game doesn't look so perfect like Hitman. If you’ve played Half Life, you’ll be familiar with the type of gameplay experienced in Gunman Chronicles. There are only two big differences, Gunman Chronicles includes an unique controlling system for driving vehicles in the game (you can drive two-tracked killing machine) and provides configurable weapons, for an example the rocket launcher can be programmed for homing, guided or two-shot spiral shooting, various launching times etc, cool isn't it? :) When I've play the game. I've found only one nasty game feature - the intro movie. Although makers did very good work with implementing this intro into the story, there should be some way to skip it. After I've watched the intro movie four times, I've been a bit nervous . Anyway, the game is good and will satisfy all Half-Life fans.
