No One Lives Forever (NOLF) looks to be most the most surprising 1st person shooter in last years. Simply this game is VERY GOOD (surely better than immortal Half-Life). Well, a bit about the NOLF story. In the game you play the role of Cate Archer, a supersexy secret agent (see the real life model Mitzi Martin) on her first field assignment for UNITY. As the game starts, H.A.R.M., an evil terrorist organization hell-bent on world domination, has been wreaking havoc, taking off several UNITY agents and preparing conspiracy plot to threaten all of mankind. Now you probably know what you have to do - your task is to uncover the conspiracy and stop H.A.R.M. bastards by using a variety of weapons and tactics. NOLF includes 50 missions, each spanning several levels, for a total of over 60. The missions take you (heh or better take her ) through a varied set of real-world locations (Morocco, Germany , Caribbean...). The game allows you to explore a sunken cargo ship, traverse a huge desert behind the handlebars of a motorcycle, and even free-fall without a parachute, just like another James Bond's movie. NOLF utilizes the LithTech 2.5 engine, the graphics are incredible cool, the player models are well designed and most are well skinned. Thanks to motion-capturing, the models come to life with fluid motion - I LIKE THAT! I have very liked to play this game, well I didn't stop yet! :) This game is definitely worth your money. .....I almost forget, the game is excellent single player experience, but if you prefer to play good multiplayer, keep to play UT or Q3A. Although NOLF includes two multiplayer modes Death Match and Assault (Co-operative CTF), the most of game maps are too big to play with only a handful of people, you will need at least 6 players to fully enjoy the game's in multiplayer mode.
