Soldier of Fortune Gold is a free upgrade for Raven's 1st person shooter that offers 18 new levels including CTF (11 for Conquer and 7 for Control), standard Deathmatch, Assassin and Arsenal, reworked AI (enemies react faster and target you quicker). two new deathmatch modes - Control and Conquer the Bunker, and new multiplayer DM Team - composed of six new player skins based on Raven employees (Assault, Brick, Cobra, Commando, Jersey, Widowmaker). SoF Gold also includes (finally) a computer controlled bot for Standard Deathmatch and Arsenal and pure server support for multiplayer games. Raven Software has also released a new patch (26MB) which will update all versions to 1.06 (Gold version). Certainly if you bought the retail version of Soldier of Fortune Gold, you do not need to download this patch.
