Reach for the Stars is a turn-based game It's a remake of that really old strategy game of the same name which appeared in 1983). As in all space strategy games, the goal in Reach for the Stars is to start with a single, primitive planet and expand to take over the galaxy by researching bigger and better weapons, building those weapons, and then using those weapons on your enemies. Each turn is seriously entertaining. Players must decide which facilities to build, what ships to design and manufacture, and where to send the finished ships. The research, facilities, ships and exploration weave together into a symphony of intriguing strategy. The game features classic 4X gameplay in a futuristic setting, countless opportunities for individual strategy, versatile scenario editor allows for considerable customization and intuitive, easy-to-use interface and multiplayer support. Although I don't like turn-based games much, am sure that Reach for the Stars is very good game for most space strategy fans.
