Carmageddon TDR 2000 is the latest in the award winning Carmageddon series. TDR2K is not a true sequel to previous Carmageddon games, but rather a whole new 'set'. For TDR2000, SCi has found a new developer, a new game engine and even a new twist on the gameplay. TDR2K features all new aggressive characters. (Because the original Carmageddon was banned by the BBFC, SCI had to replace the blood-spattered flying corpses with green zombies for UK release of the game. Fortunately I played TDR2K with 'BLOOD' patch 'coz zombies scared me), real time reflections and incredible graphics (raw, bleeding carnage ...absolutely yes!), new immersive' environment etc. The game engine is capable of resolutions from 320x200 all the way up to 2048 x 1768, assuming that your 3D card and monitor are suitably equipped, as well as supporting 16, 24 and 32-bit colour modes. TDR2K includes Free Play’ (30 races across 9 different environments), Campaign’ mode ( 30 races across 9 different environments and 25, challenging and skill building individual missions) and ‘Multiplayer’ action (5 different Death-Match arenas with 7 different network games).
