Dungeon Keeper II: It's good to be bad
(cube) 10:14 AM CEST - Jun,21 1999

Finally we're posting the screenshots from sequel to Bullfrog realtime strategy -- Dungeon Keeper. For those, who didn't play DK yet, it's a classic 'god' game, but you -- the one who must take over the world -- are not God, but Devil :) In my opinion the game is pretty cool, I'm saying that just because I've spent playing that already two days playing the campaign and I didn't get bored yet. Besides the Campaign gameplay, the game offers Skirmish mode (you play against computer ruled players), My Pet Dungeon (you can build your own own dungeon, something like SimCity :) - pretty boring thoygh), It has got also multiplayer support, but I've not tested it yet. You can choose from graphics resolution up to 1600x1280. On PII 400//Riva TNT the engine was running fast with dozens of fighting monsters at the screen.
Note: this review (and the others as well) IS biased, and it includes the very own opinion of reviewer.

snd: 5/5 - atmospheric choral music
gfx: 5/5 - the extensive use of 3D acceleration
playability: 5/5 - motivating scenario gameplay, multiplayer
genre: realtime strategy
platform: Win98
developer: Bullfrog
the game is similar to: Populous, AOE
publisher: DungeonKeeper.com
