Continuing along the same lines of the first game in which players took control of a thief names Garrett, Metal Age has a deep and rich storyline that will have gamers intrigued for many hours. The new engine promises the usual onslaught of graphical buzzword improvements that many gamers expect to see in any first person game these days. These include 16-bit color, dynamic colored lighting, translucency, particle effects system, as well as a doubling up on polygon counts for each of the models. Also sound system has been so vastly improved for the new game that you will now be able to hear through walls and doors if you lean in close enough to listen in on events happening inside rooms or buildings.Thief 2 looks to be another success for what has become a very talented and well respected development group, Looking Glass Studios.
