Q*bert
(cube) 10:32 AM CET - Nov,19 1999

Jump'n'run character Q*bert of the 1980s is now reincarnated in the lately release game from Atari. In this action/puzzle/arcade game your task is by jumping from cube to another cube to colorize them proper way, with the help of various items which make you temporarily faster, invincible, give you a new life etc. Except falling red bubles, which may cause you death by a touch, there are some fast snakes, magic guys and other bad things. The game offers several playing modes. The first is classics Q*bert on cube-pyramids, then there is some mission-like game with various special tasks, effects.. then here's score-game (best score wins) and head-to-head double-player gaming on one keyboard.

snd: 3/5 - classic arcade sounds
gfx: 3/5 - looks quite fine
playability: 4/5 - a great arcade after the long time
genre: arcade/puzzle
platform: Win
developer: Atari
publisher: Q*bert - game homepage
