Hi, i need help

I just bought a copy of Total Immersion Racing but it won't work with my XP SP2. I had it before and it worked fine but i lost the disc and bought a new one. Now it won't work. It keeps giving me a protection error. I installed the 1.3 patch which is the latest i think but still no luck. What could be the problem?
