Dennis Gustafsson is currently working on a project/game that will leave you speechless with its advanced physics. This game, which currently does not have a title yet, may soon enter its early access phase, and you should unquestionably keep your eye on it.

According to the creator, the game currently runs with 60f

I do hope it's not the most advanced.
It would paint a very, very sad picture.

if Battlefields frostbite engine and its destruction is being considered the pinnacle of the industry, this is beating it by far. Wouldn't be surprised if this wouldn't get finished and guy was employed as lead destruction dev.

it looks amazing... it's just a shame game engines like Unity and Unreal don't have this or any intention of providing such features for game developers to make fun games based on these kinds of hybrid voxel engines.. doing engines like that are really complicated and not everyone has the technical skills to make such engines..

voxel anything seems to always be some third party guy doing it, while huge companies churn out the same old.... there are a few voxel terrain and building plugins for unity but nothing on this level...

but whats the bet the game that gets made with this engine turns out to be naff, great engine though, bit like 7dtd which has a great hybrid 3d terrain and voxel based engine.. but the cube size is just a lot larger, the game itself is bleh, and yet if they licensed that engine to other unity game developers so many other sorts of games could be made using it.

I'm with Csimbi, in fact I yawn at this video. I'll tell ya why they don't do this much in games, it's not because they can't it's because they wont. VIDEO CARD LAG. Games are made to accommodate old video cards. Imagine a FPS game online and people are destroying shit all over the place. LAG CENTRAL, client and server. And even in this cheap gfx quality video, you can see it lagging. Only a n00b gamer will try and make this sound amazing and listen to the guy talking, he's a fucking NOOB. Amazing destruction eh? Now look at this....

Ya not so amazing or new.. So anyone saying this vid looks amazing, is a fucking clueless noob. Fucking Red Faction and imo way better than this shit.. Oh look smoke coming from the wall he knocked over. FUCKING N00B
