PUBG is probably the biggest sleeper hit in video game history. It revived a genre that was pretty much dead, and set numerous records along the way. With such wild success from an early-access Indie game, we all had high hopes that Bluehole would do amazing things.

Interestingly, it does not mention the fact that there was zero cheat protection built in and they tried suing cheaters for money, too.
But yes, good riddance.
You should not invest until you see the final product.
The industry is going downhill because people pay for shit games so developers take very little risk; they get paid either way.
If people don't pay for shit games, then they brand the industry as 'dying' instead of looking at the problems.
No matter how you look at it, the gamers always lose.
