Looks like DOOM has finally been cracked. FYI, DOOM was protected by Denuvo, and it appears that crackers were finally able to bypass/crack this anti-tamper tech. Obviously, I won't share any links to the crack. FYI, this crack is not from 3DM. This crack appears to be working fine, so yes; this is the real deal. It wi

Or is it just a mere temp "Bypass" for now as when the D-people examine the situation then the crackers will have to re-evaluate Denuvo again as the protection will just get an update in the next patch of the game.

Still.. noticing now previously uncrackable games are now becoming cracked. Very Happy So we'll see how far this goes.

Pretty much, just a matter of time.

Studios intend to protect for one to three, maybe six months but that's rarely possible.
If they can achieve that, it means that the majority of the revenue is in.
Everything beyond that is minor (but clean!) revenue, which they can live without.
I think Denuvo achieved just that. So, when it comes to the next AAA title, the whole board will nod in agreement when Denuvo comes back offering a better but more expensive mechanism.
Everyone gets to have their fun: studios, DRM vendors, crackers and pirates (all funded by actual customers, lol).

I am curious to see/know if Denuvo (not cheap) actually made a difference, or did it cost more than it brought back in.
I wasn't going to pay 50$ for any single player game, denuvo or not. There is fallout 4 now for ~3$. That I will pay.

Well, it was interesting that they managed to bypass it temporarily, but it was hardly a crack. You literally had to go online and temporarily manage to activate it, and it's already been shut down.
