Futuremark has announced a new DX12 benchmark called Time Spy. Time Spy will feature some classic 3DMark scenes from the past, will support both Async Compute and explicit multi-GPUs, and will take advantage of the the heavy multi-threading capabilities of DX12.

Soo... we'll see 500% increase in frames like I see in that API Overhead Test for the current 3dMark ( I scored ~2.1 million for DX11 verses ~17.6 million for DX12)? Tests were run @ 1920x1080p(16:9) full-screen. That's an incredible leap in the scores so hoping to see similar results with this new added benchmark test. |
