MarphitimusBlackimus has tried to recreate a map with 100K Revenants, and ran immediately into SnapMap's limitations. MarphitimusBlackimus was unable to create such a map, as he was limited to 64 Revenants (and 21 empty rooms).

Max 12 demons alive at a time?
That's a serious step back, lol
It's ID quality all over again, so it must be mindblowing; perhaps something like this:
Code: | #define MAX_DEMONS_ALIVE 12
...
void * pDemons[MAX_DEMONS_ALIVE];
...
if(Level.Demons.Count < MAX_DEMONS_ALIVE) Level.Demons.Spawn(eRevenant, vLocation, vRotation);
|
Just change that 12 to 256 and recompile. |

Yep that's quite BEYOND iTard but not remotely shocking: didn't 2004's Doom3 also hit a limit AND isn't this just limited to 3d engines these days for a decade+ whereas back in the 90s it was still spites/flat maps?
Still.. 12 spawnable monsters AT ONE TIME?!?! Damn thats pathetic! Should be unlockable for systems that can handle it. |
