Probably because it's going to be a more efficient 6 hours and less stress on the body (ergonomic-wise) -> win for both.
Personally, I think I do the same amount of work in 4 hours that my colleagues do in 8.

Erm... First off, if anyone comes here from a place we don't even know about, they surely are more advanced. Why would a more advanced race want to come here for anything else but to conquer us?
But wait. How does a physicist come to that conclusion? This is typically a topic for philosopher. Did Mr. Hawking find the Philosopher's Stone?

That's Havok, not Havoc. I'm actually surprised Valve didn't buy them up seeing how they use a form of Havok in their games.
A lot of the news is old news.. |

Havok's best built into DirecX. MS is a logical 'home' for that.
Unfortunately however, MS is screwing up things lately, so I am not sure how that will span out.
MS will most likely kill Havok over a year or two and release some dumb library based loosely on Havok (but marketed as the next best Havok engine).
Intel should have built new instructions into their CPUs that support Havok.
BTW, you might want to disable auto-update for Adblock - the new owner allows ads.
Another good extension down the drain. Anyone feels like coding a new one? |

Thanks for the recommendation!
I don't look for new things while the current one works...
Edit
With the same filter set, there's a 0.5 sec delay on page load when using uBlock.
I want my browser quick.
Back on AdBlock.
Other recommendations? |

Just for the record, a 6-hour workweek in Sweden is far from common. In fact, it is limited to a very very minimal trial. 8 hours is the norm and virtually no company is entertaining ideas of a 6-hour day. And if it happens it won't be 6 hours with the same pay either, I suspect.
Sure, we should be down to a couple of hours a day if we'd actually taken the efficiency increases over the decades and put them towards freeing humans from wage slavery, but not surprisingly the rich took those efficiency gains and converted it into increased cash for themselves and left the workers with longer work hours and less money. And the workers are the jackasses who let them. |

Blocked everything I wanted it to.
Might not be that advanced, but at least I don't have to wait for stupid apps. |
