Gearbox today announced that its remastered collection of the classic space sim games, Homeworld 1 and 2, will be released on February 25th. As a free bonus, this collection also includes the original versions of Homeworld and Homeworld 2 with compatibility updates, preserving the purest form of the original releases.

So, they integrated the community content.
The bug fixes and better textures.
That's exactly what remastering is and that's what the video looks like.
No value.

These I already have.
In fact, I have two copies of each.
How about you give me the remastered edition for free instead?

Is it still moddable?
If not, it has no value as the older HW games run just fine on modern HW and they do look good.
