Sacred 2 was huge game. It took me hours, if not days to get my mount. It had exciting moments that I never expected (helping the rock band and getting a legendary weapon in form of a guitar) and so so so much more. We dont need to hate you or punish you. You did what they asked you to do.
But, saying "developer of sacred 3" in your resume will do it's own. |

We should be used to the fact that companies lie about their products to sell more, so that's - sadly - not unusual at all.
But, it does not matter what they called it.
It was highly repetitive and hence, boring.
Almost void of RPG elements, just a dumb hack&slash game.
It should not even have been released.
The damage is done, so let's just forget this franchise and take note that junior designers should not lead any project.
He should have left the project instead of giving his name to it.
That's his mistake.
I don't expect much from junior employees and entrusting a junior with designing a game is the company's mistake. Juniors should go through a few hoopla-hoops with seniors before they take on their own projects. |
