I started playing video games in 1975 when my parents bought a home Pong machine for Christmas. The first videogame that truly transported me to another universe and completely engrossed me was almost two decades later in the form of Wing Commander: Privateer. I still remember the music and visuals of that game.

Chris Roberts truly does create worlds. He is everything Derek Smart pretends to be and a whole lot more. You give the man an unlimited budget, which he effectively has here, and I guarantee you he'll blow your mind and turn the entire industry on its staid, sequel-driven head.

Hang on boys, this is gonna be one helluva ride.

what he did is take a large chunk of the budget and buy 5 30" 4K monitors (when they came out, at premium price ~15.000 a pop) and hire a supermodel for a secretary. He truly is a genius...I don't doubt that he has great ideas but this game is not coming out, at least not in the announced form.

I expect them to go bankrupt, then go on sale, then ubisoft will purchase them, then you will get the content you already saw and maybe 30 systems published. Game will focus on dogfights and CTF-like modes and that will be it.
