I had the chance to play this at a friend.
Graphics just a bit better than Torchlight, so if you're into that, you won't be too happy).
I liked the colours and the fact that there is plenty of humour (some for adults though).
After a while (about mid-way into the story) it all seemed very repetitive (kill all, heal, move to next area, type of monsters, sounds, music), only the humour kept me going as there is nothing else to gain, it seems.
I hated that I can't level up when I want I have only three (yes, you read that right, only 3!!!) weapons to choose from.
Replay value seems zero.
If you have played Van Helsing 1 and 2 already, you know what a good hack and slash game should be like, so I'd wager that Sacred 3 will surely bore you after the 5th mission or so. |

I loved the first two Sacred games and I didn't mind Sacred Citadel (which I didn't finish because of losing interest, but it felt like a kind of sideproject to try something different with Sacred and I was fine with that), so then I was hugely looking forward to Sacred 3.
Unfortunately Sacred 3 is much worse than I thought The game looks like Dungeon Siege 3.5 but Dungeon Siege 3 at least had good narrative and choices!! I don't even see any "wow"-type combat arts, which I expected from the game. If you gonna do it all-out action, then make it awesome, for god's sake. Not just a lazy-kinda-flashy spin here and there with critical hit lines and such...I'm very disappointed |

No, no choices, really.
At which point did you feel disappointed?
How many missions did you complete?
I don't think I'm going to finish it. It does get really boring.
The 3D landscapes are nicely done, better and more detailed than Torchlight however there's only one way to go - except for a few not-so-hidden secret stashes (forgot that in the previous post). |
