uot;The results clearly showed that playing a violent video game increases aggressive behavior, and also makes people numb to the pain and suffering of others. There is a link between exposure to violent media and violent criminal behavior. We can't do experimental studies. It's just a correlation. Correlation doesn'

It's not entirely BS.
It does have an effect on kids that are already violent.

I say bullshit. I don't play very violent games and come off it wanting to kill anyone or anything. I get mad playing the game because it's hard or difficult not because the violence in the game makes me more violent. My son plays shooters and I get the same feeling from him. He's annoyed from cheaters or because he didn't do well. He's not going around whacking his brother etc. I get same feeling playing a racing game and losing as i do getting owned in a game.

If you have a kid already violent than I think it's a 'no duh' situation. You don't let him play shooters. Fucking common sense.

Soccer seems to cause a ton of violence or any sort of sporting event that has a large crowd Smile.

I think politicians around the world are just scared of competition. I mean, if what they are saying were true (which it is not), who would they turn to for compassion? xD Compassion, love, family values...all those things that politicians don't posses but rely on elections to get votes. If people don't give a fuck, than they would have to think of new campaigning model and they would rather just spend our money on relaxation and travel instead.

IMPRESSIVE ? NICE SHOT ? YOU ARE TIED FOR THE LEAD ?

Was he playing quake 3 ? Have not seen the footage! LOL

Dumb topic, why dont they target hollywood or tv shows as well? They are as much as violent then the game media... they are just looking for something to blame, rather then how much easy it is to get guns in the US...

I think it's UT - or a modded UT.
But my question is: isn't the purpose of ratings to decide what's violent and what is not and stamp it on the product (so parents would know what they allow their children to play)?
