Crytek and Electronic Arts have officially revealed the PC system requirements for Crysis 3:

Minimum System Operating Requirements for PC:
• Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
• DirectX 11 graphics card with 1Gb Video RAM
• Dual core CPU
• 2GB Memory (3GB on Vista)
• Example 1 (Nvidia/Intel):
• Nvidia GTS 4

Wow, top specs indeed. Won't be playing that in all its glory any time soon and neither will a helluva lot of people.

I played the beta and got bored after two hours of it. It ran fine btw (most demanding option was the shadows on max). My PC specs are:

Core i5 2500K, GTX 560Ti, 8GB Dominator RAM, 600W Fortron Epsilon.

I Have an Intel I5 3570K, GTX 660TI 2GB PCIE 3.0, 16 GB Kingston 1600 Dual-Channel and a Seagate Barracuda 2TB, SATA 6GB/s - 7200RPM - 64MB Cache - 8ms running on an Asus Maximus V Gene mobo. It's a fast system, so it looks like there is some hope for me Cool

It looks like it should run fine even on systems with gtx460s. Shadows are nice and all for screenshots but I've always shut them off in every game (fps habit). I don't play crysis games though so dunno.
