Just about everything looks stale from what I've seen the of the screenshots and gameplay footage of champions and the map..
Oh and the 30second gameplay from the fail live stream before it was paused and still is, League of Legends = loads better.
The game is a letdown as far as I'm concerned.
Also isn't a bit shit of Valve to make out they are offering a $1million prize pool to just a PRESELECTED group of die hard dota players ready suck the valve cock and play in its closed marketing tournament stream stunt.
This Dota2 is a Valve cash in turd with not much improvement over even its original dota base, and really it has even less claim to the title of dota as the original developers of dota like Guinsoo passed the project onto Icefrog who got poached by valve, while Guinsoo went to work on League of Legends which has refined the moba gameplay and balance much better for ranked team play. Also LoL has a better graphics style which Dota and HoN don't have as they have a confused art style direction. |

I'm not that impressed by it and didn't expect to be from what I read and heard earlier. Dota was fun for a bit then got boring. Played HoN for a bit too but was like Dota. I've played many mobas including Demigod Bloodlines etc. I still have LoL installed since 2010 when I actually gave it a shot. It feels like the logical evolution of Moba to me. Many of the features in Dota that are so highly loved are things that weren't anticipated or certain limitations due to the game engine/map editor. |
