According to the latest figures from Sony, the company still loses money on every PS3 sold thanks to that recent $100 price drop. A tiny but significant factoid in Sony\'s earnings report from the WSJ: \uot;Sony loses about six cents for every dollar of PS3 hardware sales.\uot;

I'm sure they'll recoup any losses in the longterm with the sale of titles by volume, and other marketing associations.
