Of course it will because S Spielberg says so...
Yes like the PS1 is still selling shed loads, even after being released 15 YEARS ago!! There is practicaly NO PC firms around from that era left today that hasn't folded or been bought out one way or another, and NO classic games that have continued either. Yet we have Mr S spouting off as if he INVENTED gaming...... Ok he had a game called 'The Dig' by Lucas Arts (which i still have) but he's not IN the games industry per se.
Spielberg, bit of advice.. stick to films and i'll stick to gaming . That way we agree on something and don't sound like one of those ass million buck celebs that do ads quoting: that they eat Shredded Wheat cereal for breakfast, yet look like the side of a house! |

Spielberg can't even make movies anymore. To hear him spout on about this stuff makes me laugh. |

Take heed and listen to the breeze left by the steed ! Ok back to reality my guess is spielbergs spiel about the future of gaming is an indication of is investments. I'm not a betting man however methinks he has shares in firms developing the next generation of video games (check out specific gaming firms shares rising after the wake of his comments). |

for a guy who's probably never played a video game in his life that's a pretty bold statement. |

He'll probably be right if the console makers don't find any proper alternative for mouse/keyboard controlling. Todays consoles' controlling sucks ass and is killing interest/sales. |
