I think EA succesfully butchered it into some sort of Consolized shite... how many more games will they trash aiming at that nub market? (I mean console)

stupid fools, but it didn't have to be this way.. if only they got a fucking clue, its not like non NOOB NFS fans.. haven't dropped hints in the past as to what would have been better. And things like extra maps, map editors.. etc that shit encourages people to buy to support the games longterm playability, communinty and online matches.

Should also be said that poor performance/optimization and aiming at the cutting edge pc hardware was fail idea aswel. People want better gameplay, interfaces(multiplayer) customization etc not piles of shaders fx and everything you possibly pile on to drag the fps down! unless they are nubs ofc, then you can make any old shit game tart it up and then shove it onto the shelves.. bit like that Vista shite OS.

oh and cheesy storylines and cutscenes.. its a fucking racing game ffs not some cinematic crap// I want to play it not watch it! nubs do that, thats why the suck at actually playing against pro gamers.

Haha if this is true!

They don't need to can the series, because it is a good idea and something that many people are interested in. They just need to SLOW down, and release fewer versions but of MUCH higher quality.

They deserve this though. I am just amazed it took people so long to catch onto the fact that NFS has become a pocket suction device if nothing else.

Time has finally come that people will stop buying this same crap with crappy controls, lame menu "layouts", unrealistic graphics, and the always same crap hard-rock tunes.

No more need for Need for Speed.

EA sucks. Got too big and too greedy. They've killed most of their big releases. NFS series got so bloody boring so it's no big loss here.
